RIDDOR is the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013. It requires certain serious workplace incidents, injuries and diseases to be reported to the HSE.

Risk assessments identify workplace hazards, assess risks and determine suitable control measures. UK employers must manage health and safety risks and review assessments when circumstances change.

Make the area safe, provide appropriate first aid, report the incident and record it according to workplace procedures. Serious incidents may need reporting under RIDDOR to the HSE.
